Don't post in this forum asking is there is a schematic or layout or info on XXX pedal.
There is a subforum setup for requests already. It is located here:
REQUESTS FORUM
Any requests posted here will be moved to proper sub forum, and I'll also make nasty remarks about your mother.
also, if you have a problem with your build, post it in the WORKBENCH. these threads are for circuit analysis only. by all means, if you discover something we should...
Morecowbell, thanks for those great links you posted, but if they are all avaible from one location, it's better to just post that one link. If people are interested in discussion about this or that box, that can become a separate thread.
They are all in the $59-159 price range! Anybody has more info on this brand, we're still waiting for the english version of the website..
Hi all, first post so hope you don't mind me wading in with a few questions.
I've recently bought an old faulty '80's Vesta fire ddx digital delay which i'm hoping to get working again.
Unfortunately, i've hardly found any info on the net other than shino vesta fire were a japanese company which became Vestax, and can't find a schematic anywhere.
The unit has 4 knobs - Range,Feedback,Multi,mix.
I've conncted to battery and mains power supply but no Led lights up, there's no clean guitar sound...
I took pics of this pedal years ago and never got around to posting them. Here they are. Better late than never. RG Keen said that it wasn't YATS. At first glace I would tend to agree. lol
Talk about one NASTY fuzz :!: - I have been fixating on that (rare) Jen (Elettronica) Fuzz & Sustain that D.A.M.'s forum has shown & discussed.
It seems like a comparator type setup, only one using an unusual chip: the UA757DC automatic gain control shown in the gutshots. The results are mule kicking slamfuzz, tho.
Has anyone fully traced & posted the schematic yet?
I haven't breaded that Octave Up Sickbox yet - the one that makes use of a 4070 chip as a comparator-type squarewaver - but it...
First off, long time lurker, first help request. I really appreciate the humongous amount of information here.
Now I have a box of pedals that either dont work, kinda work, or work and suck... And in it was this small stone, now in the past I've heard it phase, while experimenting with the wiring, so I know it works. But the butthole that had it previously hacked up the wiring. I haven't seen a wiring diagram for this model and was wondering if anybody could help.
Hi, please has anyone got some nice hi res pics of the old colorsound phazex phaser? I'd like to use them for the decal on a clone. Drop me a PM and I'll give you my email to send them too, many thanks folks :)
I recently got this pedal of evilbay after reading it was a boss lmb-3 limiter compressor clone. Really nice pedal for its money I paid $43 Australian dollars for it and it's built nicely all through hole although i don't think it's true bypass but not a big deal to mod. Here are some guts pics so enjoy!!!! If anyone has a schematic of the boss lmb-3 they would like to share it would be much appreciated to go with these pics. Cheers :applause: :applause: :applause: :applause:...
All,
I am kind of new here and there is a lot of things I am learning and want to start building a few DIY boxes....Now since the sought after WH-1 original whammy pedal is so expensive to get I like to know if it is possible to build one with the right IVL chip. And if so, where can I get a layout and source for parts. Thanks..greg
Hi everyone here is some guts shots of the moen holy choir chorus. I know that a lot of these pedals are copys of a schematic out there that is another pedal for instance the moen unicomp is a diamond compressor the moen shaky jimi is a john hollis easyvibe so basically i would like it if anyone could verify by the guts shots what this one has been copied from. It hasn't become apparent to me. But if anyone can tell i would love to hear from you. Hope you enjoy the guts shots! :thumbsup...
I wanted to draw attention to the fact that, despite the many threads, no one has yet determined the exact difference between these effects.
The GT-OD and new ZW-44 have a switch changing a resistor. The question is, what it connects. I've found that switch connects the 4.5V and one of the pins of the amplifier. But I do not know who exactly, because of the drawing, which I found could not be read.
I took my recently purchased Joyo Ultimate Drive apart to repaint the case & the PCB had some goop or permanent marker over the label. As I scratched it a bit, it says Freekish Blues Alpha Drive II - Copyright 2011 . There is enough resolution on the photo to see it. I didn't check to see if it had the 3 FB AD II mods.
So I saw some folks get Joyo labeled PCB in FB AD II case and some people got a corrected tagged Joyo UD (v2.0?) PCB in Joyo case. I got a mut. Whatever, it sounds fine. Wish I...
Hi, I have the chance to acquire one of these pedals soon and I'm wondering if there is much difference between the Re-issue and the original? Mostly circuitwise.
If anyone has the schematic for the original and the RI it would be great. Its so hard looking for the right big muff schematic theres so manyyy!
Heres a gutshot I found of the RI if anyones interested:
Just browsed the vox website and saw this 'hand-wired' wah pedal...... new mojo??? Luckily they added a schematic themselves...... transistors are (with a bit of zooming) 2N5172's
You might have seen I posted in the off topic. I was looking into adiy project for this stuff, but GGG dissapointed a bit:
- Inspired by VZex's LoFi Loop Junkie and
- Based on 20 second voice recorder chip, Winbond ISD1000A - Why, because I had one. Although they are obsolete, some RadioShack stores still have them (276-1325) in their discount bins.
Maybe there are alternatives to the chips or other projects? Anybody tried building one?
I'd never heard of this pedal until recently.
Description:
The ads used to say that the EH-2 adds brilliance, dynamics and presence to your sound. When you first plug in this pedal most people won't hear any difference in the sound. Keep playing for a while and then turn it off. You will then realize the effect that this pedal has. What it does is to dynamically modify the high-frequency harmonics. This restores the clarity and delicate harmonic structures lost through signal processing with...
