Don't post in this forum asking is there is a schematic or layout or info on XXX pedal.
There is a subforum setup for requests already. It is located here:
REQUESTS FORUM
Any requests posted here will be moved to proper sub forum, and I'll also make nasty remarks about your mother.
also, if you have a problem with your build, post it in the WORKBENCH. these threads are for circuit analysis only. by all means, if you discover something we should...
Morecowbell, thanks for those great links you posted, but if they are all avaible from one location, it's better to just post that one link. If people are interested in discussion about this or that box, that can become a separate thread.
They are all in the $59-159 price range! Anybody has more info on this brand, we're still waiting for the english version of the website..
I`d very much appreciate a hand with a non working Orange Squeezer.
Mine is the early 80s Maxon built model reissue. Well made, fairly true to the original I think, and neat inside with the Tubescreamer chip, but bought as junk for $20.
But...
Bypass works fine.
NO signal with switch in on position
Checked battery and battery snap.
Checked using it at amp end instead of at guitar end (Although I do not know which way the wires should be connected for either ;) )
Poked about...
Got this a while back in a trade. Don't own it now, but I thought I'd post the photos I took when troubleshooting. When I got it, there was a whistling that could not be dialed out. So I did some googling and bought the factory schematic and had a look-see. Turns out that a lot of these units had trouble with noise because of the clock chip (CD4047). I ended up replacing the 4047 and was able to get the noise about 95% gone.
This one has a single MN3005, a 571 compandor, CD4047 clock, and a...
Just Got this in the Post Today from Member Slor, not too much about on this one so I got some gut shots for it.
The Schematic floating around for this one calls it the 'Economy Memory Man' Due to it's lack of Companding probably, haven't had a chance to plug it in myself yet (Need to grab a U.S. to U.K. Adapter).
I Notice my one seems to have Purple Writing as opposed to the pictures i've seen of these which all seemed to have Blue  Anyway...
Hi guys, this is my first topic here and i need to ask you something. I've already searched everywhere but i didn't find anything.
I want to made a ts9 hand wired, like the ts808hw that ibanez did a while ago. I'm using this pcb layout and these wiring layout 1 & 2
The difference between ts9 and ts808 (i think) it's in R15 and R16, the ts9 uses 470R and 100k resistor instead of 100R and 10k, but i'm not sure. Can anyone tell me if i'm wrong?
The second question is about wiring: in the wiring...
Yesterday I had the chance to see for 10 minutes a disassembled EHX Nano Soul Preacher and I was shocked: 2 x ICL7660, 2 x LT1792 (or something like that) and 2x2N5484 (SMD)!!!
Unfortunately, I have no camera to take some gut shots :(
Anyone heard this one? Description sounds interesting, a little hard to interpret: This Distortion pedal has 2 gain control. It mean that can make sound from soft distortion to loud distortion sound. Gain1 increases treble distortion, adjust the former level of distortion. Gain2 controls the amount of bass distortion, adjust the saturation level of distortion. It has 3 knobs bass gain , treble gain , and level . Supposed to have a Mesa Boogie MK IV flavor. Will someone please buy this and post a...
Hi all,
while looking through two MXR super comps I noticed that the attack pot is connected differently than the common mod for the dynacomp.
In the following I will relate to the part numbers as given in Jack Ormanns schematic.
Typically the Attack mod replaces the 150 k restrictor (connecting collectors of Q3 and Q4 as well as the base of Q5 to V+) with a variable restrictor.
The Super Comps in contrast have the pot connected in a way that leaves the resistance between Q3/Q4 and V+ at a...
My next door neighbor was cleaning out his mother-in-laws garage and gave me a non-functioning Jerrold P.A. amplifier. It has some interesting mic preamp modules that clip into the chassis. I drew up a schematic and it looks kinda familiar; maybe Rangemasterish, Fuzzfacish, kinda thing?
Seems like a little tweaking could make a nice little noise maker; What do you think?
Does anyone happen to have the schematic for Boss Harmonist HR2 pedal? The pedal powers up and clean signal is going through and when effect is engaged (led goes on) the clean signal still heard but no harmonies. Without schematics I think I could check next the various surface mounted opamps and also feed a signal and check with a scope if the signal is processed. I have also ESR checked the filter electrolytic caps and no issues there and the 5V regulator is also fine (output 4.95 VDC)....

I have read this:
& this:
Can anybody help explain this: ??
- How do the additional diodes affect the release time?
I understand the goal, but not the mechanism..
Can some of you help me get my head around it?? :)
Hardly what i'd call a Modern Stompbox but the Schematic dates it as 3 years out on '75.
Anyway, here's a Redraw of the Factory Schematic for those of you with poorer eyesight. I think the Redraw is Correct I can't recall where I got the original Factory one from and nor can I confirm its Authenticity so if someone knows the link to that or if it's correct, that'd be handy.
I might see about converting it to 9V & V3205s as it's quite a nice simple looking Delay Project.
I have a TC Nova Delay, I love it a lot, but one thing is bugging me, the amount of hiss that it inserts into my amp.
I use the pedal directly in front of the amp input and not in the loop.
I emailed TC Electronics and they told me that these pedals were designed for best performance in line levels. They also accept instrument levels, but their output are scaled for line levels. This means that going back to an instrument input, the signal will be hot, and the floor noise (from the guitar)...
Hi, anyone think that changing the opamp in the drive side of this thing may alter the distortion, as it is universally known to be rubbish? Or any suggestion would be good, pls. don't want to bin it, yet.
I used to have an old M-144 MXR Loop Selector that was stolen (actually my pedalboard was stolen) - I can't find one anywhere - does anybody have a schematic for this? Please let me know.
These limited edition MXR boxes always intrigue me, mostly because I want to know what warrants a new paintjob(usually nothing). I figured you guys might also want to know what is going on under the hood.
These are the gutshots, and my next post will be the values I have written down. I won't measure the film caps because they are SMD and I don't want to bother with pulling them out of circuit to measure.
