Don't post in this forum asking is there is a schematic or layout or info on XXX pedal.
There is a subforum setup for requests already. It is located here:
REQUESTS FORUM
Any requests posted here will be moved to proper sub forum, and I'll also make nasty remarks about your mother.
also, if you have a problem with your build, post it in the WORKBENCH. these threads are for circuit analysis only. by all means, if you discover something we should...
Morecowbell, thanks for those great links you posted, but if they are all avaible from one location, it's better to just post that one link. If people are interested in discussion about this or that box, that can become a separate thread.
They are all in the $59-159 price range! Anybody has more info on this brand, we're still waiting for the english version of the website..
Hi guys,
I found a VT BASS DI with some issues and before repair it I decided to trace it.
Actually I removed all thru hole components in order to see better the tracks.
Here you can find the first gut shots.
In the next days I will start write down the schematic
All the VR are 100kB, all IC are TLC2262 except a 4013 and the module is CH34-9.
does anybody have a schematic of the maxon/ibanez af-9 ? i´m curious to see how it differs from the mutron. i know there is an afl schematic, but are they the same (with the omitting of the hp setting on the afl) ?
Ladies and gentlemen, let me introduce you the long awaited reverse of what some consider as the best chorus ever made.
It's taken from an original 80's version. I can't tel if the actually made SCF is the same or if there are revisions of the old one
BUT some will have to work a little on it : it was already a hellish work for me to put all that on tracing paper (and did some retouching with graphic editor) and lets say I'm not in the mood to finish all that in any CAD especially considering...
Anybody have a schematic for the Digitech PDS 8000? I have one that produces no effect and the infinite loop is locked on. I will at times get a digital squeal when the effect is engaged (and the infinite loop is too obviously) until I go back to bypass.
The schematic:
As you can spot it is a Ross Compressor clone; as I marked in RED the changes they made to the schematic. These changes don't sound really good...... my unit was really bright and 'Boring' sounding!!
is there anyone out there who owns a Guyatone PS-011 Distortion/Sustainer, and would be willing to post a photo of the wiring inside, with PCB? Maybe even schematics, but I won’t get my hopes up.
I’m working on repairing one that was in terrible shape, can’t find any reference images to help reconnecting the cables right. Looks like an interesting circuit, with a LM308N chip, like the old Rats!
Not sure what this is supposed to be a clone of. Some claim a Blue Hippo but I’ve never tried one. However I have tried many chorus and am an electric mistress fan and this has that “metallic” sound similar to the small stone and electric mistress. With the knobs set very low and kind sound similar to each. Also does a good faux Leslie. It does have a volume boost when engaged and it also must have a longer than usual delay set time because it’s almost like a doubler or even very quick slap...
So I am growing to love this community on here and want to contribute somehow, even though i am a noob. I really am impressed with this Harwire CM-2 overdrive. IMO they knocked it out of the park with this one. It ahs kicked my Zendrive and OCD clones right off the board at the moment! I rock it as a medium/high gain OD, in the modified position, gain at aroun 2:30 and bass up around the same. I really dig the low knob. Some cool looking IC's inside too. Looks like 4 of em?
The thing I really don't like with Wah Wah pedals is the on/off switch under the treadle, the way you can't avoid contact with it when you are working the treadle. I remember seeing a Wah Wah pedal with a slightly different design where the switch is under the treadle but there is a hole immediately above it in the treadle so you can work it without touching the top of the switch but still press the switch when you want to.
Can anyone remember what make the Wah Wah pedal is please?
Here's another weird pedal I never took the time to trace.
Sorry for the middle section of the schematics, it's very messy.
There's no values for the non-polarized caps, but I don't think they're that critical. I'll add them when I have the time to desolder and mesure.
For now, I'd suggest everything at 100n exept C16 which is probably around 1u and C1 & C2 around 1n.
As always, please tell me if you spot a mistake.
I recently got this vintage pedal PUE Sustain Filter (Poles are really creative at naming stuff), and it was described as Polish Big Muff, so I decided to check out the circuit. PUE was producing guitar pedals in the 80s in Lodz, Poland.

It has a plastic enclosure with battery only a power supply (however, the DC jack was added by a previous owner), and the PCB has a metal screen attachment, which is supposed to keep out radio interference. PCB is single-sided,...
I traced my Exar OD-02 OverDrive from series 2. Initially, I hoped that it will have the same circuit as OD-1, because most of the Exar series 1 and 2 pedals share the same PCBs, but it wasn't the case.

PCB is single-sided and was easy to see all the tracks on a light. My unit seems to be produced in 1996 or later according to the date code on the gain potentiometer.

It appeared that it is definitely not a TS variation, but a...
