Don't post in this forum asking is there is a schematic or layout or info on XXX pedal.
There is a subforum setup for requests already. It is located here:
REQUESTS FORUM
Any requests posted here will be moved to proper sub forum, and I'll also make nasty remarks about your mother.
also, if you have a problem with your build, post it in the WORKBENCH. these threads are for circuit analysis only. by all means, if you discover something we should...
Morecowbell, thanks for those great links you posted, but if they are all avaible from one location, it's better to just post that one link. If people are interested in discussion about this or that box, that can become a separate thread.
They are all in the $59-159 price range! Anybody has more info on this brand, we're still waiting for the english version of the website..
ok, here's the thing I've been quietly looking for one of these and found a couple out there but haven't played it before. The reviews on harmony central are varied and few, but the principle of the circuit design sounds intresting. No free schematics can be found. but check this out...
this guy is hyping the absolute shit out of this pedal, and supports this with excerpts from hc reviews. sometimes the auctions are more about style than subtance... from what I gathered from reading...
so i need to switch between my dynamic mic destinations in a live situation, and was thinking that even though i'm a complete electronics novice an XLR a/b switch should be simple enough to put together?
after a bit of internet research there seems to be a lot of different methods some using 3PDT some 2PDT, some powered, some not... so im a bit confused as to what to go for...
This is pretty much all i need (minus the pad and trim):
So this is my first venture into bring a commercial pedal back to life. Not super familiar with flanger circuits. As it stands right now, it won't pass a signal when the pedal is on or off. The LED does come on though. I see a bunch of solder bridges on the board but i'm not sure if someone tried to fix this before it landed in my hands. Where's a good place to start?
i´m just repairing an boss rv-5 that was fried and found the culprit, it is a choke with 4 pins right after the power input, on the pcb it is marked L1 . when the choke is removed and bypassed with 2 wires, the effect works perfectly.
now i wonder what the value of this choke is.
does anybody have a schematic of the rv-5, or other boss digital effects for that matter (maybe they all have a similar power input scheme ?) or know what the value of this part could be ?
Issue is I have no idea where power and group from battery is supposed to go to
As you can see, someone before me tried to fix it so now there's 2 battery clips (????)
Any help would be appreciated!
My 'brother in metal' Dean Cascione with the first two in a series of demos for the new 2013 limited edition DOD Overdrive Preamp 250 in the style of Neoclassic Shred - Finally how it was meant to be! ;)
Live Performance - Arpeggio Assault
Dean unintentionally misspoke and meant to say that it doesn't color your tone when it's off. It's all good!
I have this new 'metallic gold' DOD 250 (by DigiTech) too and it made me replace my favorite 'Neo-Classic 741 Overdrive' scratch-built clone...
Looks very much like a Little Angel to me, but I'll go over it in the next couple of days to confirm it. Funny that they thought sanding the ICs would stop people recognising a PT2399 (especially with the regulator under the 500K pot)
I picked this up from Ebay. Used Ts9 with Keeley mod plus and also the clay jones od mod with a 3 way selector switch. I've been using a cheap tube screamer (sound tank) to boost my guitar's signal to the amp (engl savage/Peavey 5150II). This pedal should be a nice replacement. Also looking forward to getting some warm creamy lead tones from it and experimenting. Anyway, thought I'd share.
I do own a Digitech TL2 and really love it for what its doing :D
It states to be analog and I wonder if anyone does know what the circuit inside is based on ?
I would have opened it but there are some nasty screws which so far prevented me from doing so. (anyhow from what I have seen about the Hardwire series - I would expect a lot of SMD inside)
Greetings. I have built a lot of fuzz face based effects and would like to play them through a headphone setup. If anyone has any feedback on a setup for this, I would be very appreciative.
My thought was to build an MXR headphone amp.
I was thinking that I may need a speaker cab sim between the effect and the amp, which I would want to include in the same box. Perhaps the Condor?
If anyone has any experience with either of these items, let me know. I'm also not adverse to a commercial...
Does anyone have a schematic for the Danelectro Rocky Road. I'm working on a rehouse and I'm having trouble with the speed potentiometer. I'd like to see if I have the correct value and if have it wired correctly.
The original pot is marked 104 which I interpreted as B100k.
80's porn ... I picked one of these up off evilbay. Seems I lucked out, this unit isn't very noisy, even with auto-clean on.
Not sure if mine has been moded or not.
This smart gate circuit could make for a great stand alone stompbox, especially after compression or high gain pedals ... Wouldn't be to hard to trace.
