However, I'm not sure that it is apposite method to prevent the popping?

I want to take this little green wonder circuit... take out the body pot, make the resistance a constant at about half way (whatever that value is) and then add a tone pot... much like an original tubescreamer. that's my first objective. I got several schematics, mods and stuff about Tube Screamers... I notice one thing that makes me wonder and I still have no answer for it.
In the TS-808 Schematic there's in the clipping section, a cap and a resistor attached to the feedback loop of the opamp... well.. I saw in two screamer's schematics that it can be connected to the ground or to the Bias Voltage (+4,5V)... what's the difference this produce soundwise?
Could anyone help with an explanation... I really don´t get...

Hi, this is my schem of a LFO built based on a 555 for the tremulus lune, since there was no way I can make it work(The led doesn´t oscillate :? ). As I see, it works, but I'd like a second opinion, specially to correct technical mistakes.

Okay, so I'm switching a guitar to a stereo output jack (with a pull switch pot to re-assign the neck pickup to tip instead of ring) and I'm building a stereo breakout box that will take a stereo input, buffer each signal with an op amp buffer, and send each one to its own mono output jack.

First question:
In this scenario, is it critical to decouple the pickups? I don't think it is, right? Because each pickup forms its own circuit with its amp. If it was a mono input, splitting into two...

Dear all,

I need an fx loop with 2 wet & 1 dry lines to use with bass so I took circuit snipplet from all over the net and came out with this schematic.
It starts with buffer which then split signal into 2 wet & 1 dry.
The wet lines have the polarity reverser as found on splitter blend from ROG.
The 3 signal each has their own vol control before mixed then goes to a JFET buffer at the end.

Could somebody review my schematic below and points out error and/or improvement before I etch the PCB...

I really like the sound of the Maestro filter/sample+hold in the sample+hold mode, but have tried breadboarding the circuit at various points over the last few years with a consistent success rate of zero :evil:

Nice circuit! Here's what I've tried so out far (pretty basic):
- Added a switchable 4u7 electro to the mosfet's source - There's a nice range of grit with humbuckers, but I could do with more for my weedy single-coils.
- Replaced the 8k2 output resistor with a 50kB pot and upped the cap-to-ground to 4n7 from the original 2n2 to tame the treble a bit at high gain settings/with the gain boost engaged/with a bjt boost stage infront
- Tried (but abandoned) clipping diodes on the end

I have found in my stuff at home a vintage TDA2108 chip. I didn't know what it was, but appears to be some sort of MN3005 from what I read on the internet?
Do you have more informations? I think it came from an italian organ (and I guess it was used for the chorus then?)

What analog delay or pedal can I build based on this chip? I'd like to use it but can't find a lot of info about it.

Needing a bit of advice. Friend of mine plays fiddle in a Ceilidh band (Scottish country dance music band), He knows that I sometimes build pedals and asked If I could make a killswitch for him that he can operate with his foot. Currently there isn't really anything on the market that suits his needs as he uses XLR cables from the violin to either a PA or phantom power box (I'm not sure which comes first or if they are built in). Some circuits like MXR dist +, phase 45 work better in batteries, other work better with power supply. How make its work in better way to optimize the pedal board. Thanks.

The Ant Driver is an SMD opamp buffer that fits in a 1/4 jack on your guitar cable.
The general idea is to buffer the signal right as it comes out of the guitar to get a strong, low-impedance signal through that first run of cable.
It's powered by using a mic (2-conductor) cable that takes the voltage from the first pedal in the chain.

Hi, just finished laying out this Bassballs stripboard.
I used this schem:
This is my first stripboard using ICs so I am not sure if I got it quite right.
The first stripboard pedal that I laid out took me a few days- this one seemed easier and only kept me amused for a few hours.
I deliberately wanted to have all the offboard wiring on one side which makes it easier to work on later on IMO
- if it desperately needed to be smaller that would be the place to find some shrinkage.
