A half assembled Bi-comprossor board, one op-amp, one trimmer, two FET´s. An Orange Box with the name juicer .... juice is the result if you Squeeze the oranges enough.....
Yes, you are right..... The Juicer is nothing else than a blatant clone of the Dan Armstrong Orange Squeezer ..... even the component values are exactly the same..... made by the King of solder jockeys himself.
For a schematic look out for the orange squeezer schematic....
So I cam across Vintage FX a few months ago and I was instantly attracted to their Colordrive pedal because of all the great things I've heard about the old 71' Colorsound boxes. So I git myself one and I am very happy with it, of course I can't say that it sounds or doesn't sound like the original CS stuff, but it has become my new go to overdrive pedal. They also make a double stomp switch Colordrive 2 which I have not heard or gotten to play. Does anyone else out there own any VFX pedals?

Im curious, if theres no schematic to be found, would it be pretty easy to mod a morley or bass crybaby? I know I need rotary switches and all....just wondering...
But if a schema is available..that would be cool too.
I have seen a few discussion of this already, but none that answered my question (at least when the schematic is no longer available):
What is the tone shaping section of the Janglebox? Is it a treble booster or is it just a selection of capacitors wired to a switch (like a bright switch)?
I don't particularly feel the need to invest in a new Dynacomp-style compressor, but related to my first question, I would like to build myself a box just containing the Jangle/tone part of the circuit in a...
I took these gutshot pics tonight. After seeing that the Dos Mos was a blatant copy of the AMZ MosFET-booster, I thought it would be fun to see what the Uno Mos was copied from.
I'm going to take a stab at tracing the circuit (never done this before), but feel free to jump in and help me. :)
Now that I've got the basic pics done, I can clip the LED leads a pull the board out for better photos if anyone thinks it will help.
Hey there booteekers....
The clips i've heard sound just like Joe's high gain sound. :thumbsup
I wonder what topology was borrowed and tweeked to make it so(?)
I thought I remember an old interview with Joe that said he used the DS1 :?:
Joe's admits trying for the booteek look ...can U say chicken head ???
Well, did a search and didnt come up with anything on the Teese Picture Wah...so here are some pics !
Obviously CC resistors...Halo inductor....I'm guessing BC109 transistors about 350-400hfe. Nice looking build (the red wire in the bottom picture is not stock...it's from a Foxrox retrofit). Probably just a good sounding wah. No special tricks , just good parts and build.
