^ I have a joyo branded UD, and also a harley benton-branded one from thomann, and the harley benton one has a lot more level on tap, and more gain, too. (Don't quote me on that, though, because I don't think I've ever run them head to head as I have them on separate boards... but that's the feeling I get, anyway. I certainly have the knobs set at completely different positions to achieve a broadly similar tone.)

Whether or not that's because of the different versions, or whether the harley benton ones aren't exactly the same, I don't know (I'm no electronics buff, I just lurk here to make sure I'm not getting ripped off :D )

ah, is there no way to edit posts here? Apologies if there is and I missed it. I was just going to say, I think the harley benton one is a little brighter, too.

I have a Joyo UD V.2 .There is a "anti-pop" circuit a la Fulltone OCD v4 and I dont
think v1 has that circuit. It´s on the bottom of the board.

Direct from Fulltone homesite :
"Q: The OCD has the brightest LED I've ever seen, it lights up my entire pedalboard, but there is NO POPPING sound like on my other booteek effects...is the OCD true bypass?

A: Yes it is true bypass, and thanks for noticing the "no pop thing." I invented an active anti-pop circuit (not simply resistors to ground ;) that eliminates almost all the snap, thump, and pop you're used to getting at higher volumes with true bypass pedals."

you could see the schematic upper right on OCD schematic.

The Reverse polarity protection is a bit over the top. It should have one or the other D1 makes D2 redundant. Not a biggy but it shows a lack of understanding.
It's fairly straight forward, if you want to start it , press start. You can work out the rest of the controls for yourself !

No silicon heaven ? preposterous ! Where would all the calculators go ?

Hi,

Total noob in need of assistance if anyone can help?

I have a V2 of the Ultimate Drive, the foot switch of which exploded on stage recently. I'd like to simply snip off the mini PCB which comes off the main board and wire up my replacement switch and an LED.

SO, are any of you knowledgeable guys able to jot down some guidance on which wires go where please?

Any assistance gratefully received. Thanks in advance.
