What is the marking on these transistors?
Frankly speaking, I not completely sure. The transistor has a code GY 5.
But I have searched through few data base and found it as Sanyo NPN.
Just look the link below:

BTW - The Chamelion Cab CH1 is out now and going for $119 and the Stonehead 50W Head is $699. Both are now available in the US in stock for immediate shipment. Just incase anybody want to get either of them and share what you find
The cake is really compact. It's comparable to the cigarette pack.
The quality and design are great. And it is inexpensive.

What about sound, I have no opportunity yet to test it in full.

J0K3RX wrote:Ok, here is what I have.. It's the Bogner B1 with some minor tweeks and cab simulation with bass and treble knobs for the cab sim. Like the AMT it has 2 outputs, one straight preamp out and one preamp cab sim out. If you hit the bypass while you are running out of the cab sim output it just turns off the preamp, the cab sim is still on so you can use it for just a cab sim if you want with other preamps or whatever.... Sounds F'ing incredible to me!!! I will do a demo of the whole thing as soon as I get more time  I will run out of the P1 into the cab sim in my pedal and record and then just the P1 with it's cab sim so you can compare. Then I will just use the pedal and record both with and without the cab sim... Still waiting on knobs :? I think this sounds better than all of my stuff!!! The ENGL and Diezel are next and I can't wait to get them done!
Ok, I just had some teeth pulled so I ain't gonna be playin nothing worth a damn but here are some short samples completely dry no nuthin!

This is the actual AMT P1 pedal - The first and the last take are the P1 cab sim out, all knobs set to 12 o'clock.
All of the takes in between the first and last takes are the P1 running out of the regular non-cab simulated output into my pedal using just the cab sim in my pedal.

Here is the pedal itself, B1 clone using the cab sim and I am fiddlin with cab sim the knobs a bit. Again completely dry, no effects nothin...

es_gt, schematic as it drawn can`t work, also pinout of 2SC3689 does not match layout on PCB!
I think you not correctly read marking, I think marking 6Y not GY.
In this case we have MMBFJ177 which has pinout matching to PCB layout.

Thanks a lot.
I am a little bit confused. The transistor is so small, so I could make a mistake.
I will look agian with a zoom lens and maybe take a picture.

es_gt, can you measure voltages (at least at pins of active components) & note them on schematic?

You will be the first to build the P1 that I am aware of...? lotta trimmers on that one in place of the 12k resistors! The P1 is a bad@ss pedal, not sure why anybody hasn't built one yet?

J201's and 1N4148's should work fine...

I doubt the value of the resistor R7 = 81 ohm. There is no such resistor value - 81 ohms. Also, the simulator shows that the value of R7 should be about 1k.

1N4148 instead of BAT54 will work but the clipping won't be as asymmetrical.

The original design puts great emphasis on the use of a Shottky instead of a silicon for that reason (see the russian web page, don't have the link now).

All in all, it may not be really be very noticeable from a sonic point of view so no problem.

jymaze - Do you think a 1N5822 might be ok? Maybe there are others more suited than the 1N4148...?

I expect that any Shottky diode would do the trick, so yes for 1N5822.

Any good news from Tube Cake Town? I would think somebody would have a board layout, BOM and working copy by now  Just kiddin, but seriously any progress with it?

sugab, 2CS3689 is wrong type, right type MMBFJ177 (non smd J177) p-channel JFETs.
Tested (in simulator) schematic there:
viewtopic.php?f=1&t=15891&view=unread#p200145
Closest to BCX56-16
http://www.nxp.com/documents/data_sheet ... BC56PA.pdf
in non-smd package is BC635
