My impression is that if you use a straight "out-to-negative-input" of the opamp, you can't use capacitors to tailor de frecuency response.
With this configuration, instead, you have bass rolloff (to avoid rumble?) @15Hz and below, and treble rolloff (@ whatever the value of C3 is with the 6.8K) to keep RF out of the circuit.

From what I've gathered, Visual Sound buffers and bypass have gotten very good reviews.
And seeing how people talk about the "transparency" of buffer-circuits...
It would be somewhat ironic if steeper low and high freq. rolloff is the reason for using that configuration.

Redrawn the schematic for easier reading.
The first complete schematic I posted might be helpful if anyone want to verify and complete the trace.

:applause: and just let me know if anyone wants values of components--I'll see what I can do

Jtn191, if you could fill in the missing component values from the schematic that would be great! I am particularly interested to find out if the C3 is big enough to be intentionally altering the top end in bypass.

Resurrecting an old thread, I know, but has anyone made a PCB for the Angry Fuzz? Or bread-boarded the schematics and can comment on it?

Did you noticed that there is some transistor missing on the board?

I see this pedal is discontinued now and I am wondering if the schematic is more or less complete?
I heard one the other day and these are really nice pedals... I need to find one cheap on ebay :applause:

Yeah, I heard Visual Sound changed names. I'll see about getting values

Hi. It's my first post on this forum. I live in Poland and ... sorry but my English isn't very well. I've got VS angry fuzz and it's working but is very noisy. Can You help me ? I'm not electonics but i can use soldering tools. I can do additional photos if needed. What should I look for and where to start ? Best regards.
