Im wondering if anyone has any gut-shots of this or knows what it's based on.
I've heard good things about it and I'm curious. I haven't seen any on Ebay for a decent price or I would have already picked it up.

It seems to share much in common with many Boss/Ibanez/Maxon/DOD designs from the time. Diode clippers, gyrator tone controls, etc...

I was curious about it because, and this is very teen fanboy of me and is sure to get me flamed  , one of the guitarists in 'The Sword' uses it for his distortion sound.
The other guitarist uses the Metal Muff soley for distortion. I was quite shocked since I always assumed they were relying on their Orange and Laney amps for their distortion sounds but nope, they both claim to use pedals into clean amps.
