I was a bit afraid this would be yet another distortius maximus, but slight hope of seeing a pinnacle got me buying one. Nope. None of the above. Three 4558s, volume and gain A100K, bass C50K, mids A100K and treble A50K. No guesses from me at the moment as i won't have the time to trace it anytime soon. Sounds extremely good for a 25€ pedal.

I have been curious about this pedal also. I have one and I think it sounds very good. I am 99% convinced it is a Triple Wreck clone without the Boost circuit. I have built a Wrectifier with a PCB from PedalPCB, and it sounds nearly identical to the Red Devil. Looking at the values you mentioned, they appear to match the Wrectifier, except using 4558 instead of TL072. I haven't traced it, but the tone is there.

Could it be something based on the plextortion? It looks like so.
