EHX - Stereo Pulsar, busted input jack

Bought a "faulty" EHX Stereo Pulsar for cheap. Turned out the fault (main out not being effected) was caused by a dead battery (!), or at least the problem went away when I got rid of the battery and put the cover back on. Which was nice.

However, I did something wonky with the input jack when reassembling the pedal (I took the whole pedal assembly out to check) and the jack broke when I stupidly just jammed the plug in. It's still usable without the nut, but in its present condition it's not exactly roadworthy. Already ordered a replacement part from Tayda. The question is: should I replace the broken input jack with another one that's just as flimsy, or are there better options? The input jack is or at least looks exactly like this enclosed PCB-mount stereo jack: https://www.taydaelectronics.com/hardwa ... k-pcb.html
