As the CA3094 and CA3080 are becoming scarce, this updated version with LM13600 and LM324 is very welcome.
Smaller Stone than ever!
Anybody could opinate about if it sound as cool as the old versions?

Mr Graemey, who even did some comparison, may you give us your impression?
He made this very interesting, as ever, vid:
It's about old and new versions of Small Stone, but who knows if he knew the Nano's too?

Now, I need to open mine up and see which version it is... Does anyone know which circuit they used for the "Made in NYC" Reissue from about 6 years ago?
I will find out.

How do you find things in password protected folders? That link must have been posted somewhere, yes?analogguru wrote: maybe someone who has downloaded the

and I am glad that it was. I think I got it from stephen giles posting it a ways back. I've got one and added a mix pot to it... thought about adapting the tonepad add on stages board to it.
Ok I see this topic is little bit out time, but I was wondering if someone have PCB and layout for this pedal.
Recently I've built ROPEZ and I'm not satisfied with the result.
did all mods and still ropez is to shallow with phasing. I'm not going to left couples of LM13700 to lay around.
I also found this if it's any help.
tnx

Errr, better late than never
Just stumbled upon this thread:
Of the two SS's in the video, the old one just shades the newer one. Richer sound that rolls nicely around the sweep in a very harmonic way.
My old one still has the vol drop problem when engaged, anyone know how to lose it? It also has a strange problem when 1st powered up: I have to crank the speed knob up full to wake the effect up, then it stays fine until powered down by removing input jack.
I tried a friends Nano SS against my two and found it to be a bit thinner. Nice phaser but not the classic we all remember.

From the looks on the photo I could say I'm sure that point No.2 doesn't have connection between pad and triangular corner part.
No.1 looks like there is a connection between IC pads and No.3 pretty much sure that there shouldn't be connection since the tracks around these pads are separated. It's my logical conclusion. I hope somebody else would like to confirm it, but in case they don't, make them separated. They are very close so shouldn't be a problem to use a bit of solder to "jump" them.
Btw what have you used for drawing?

Ok so everything is ok then. It doesn't matter anyway this is just prototype (it's redrawn in GIMP ).
if this thing works maybe I will redraw layout in eagle...
tnx himister!

Hey no worries. Glad to help.
I was kind of hoping that you didn't start pcb and layout drawing since I did it today and almost finished...need to finish component markings.
If you would like to post yours and contribute just go ahead and let me know, I will not post mine.
But if you think it's a to much fuss for you just say so...
Cheers.

Hey that's great news since I don't have nothing more to contribute.
Guess I'll wait for your layout then.

Here we go...but please do some checking
I didn't mark some of the caps values 'cause schematic is really poor quality image and my eyes hurt from staring at it.
Some values I couldn't read at all. We need some brave soul to redraw that one.
Let me know if something is missing and freely do draw on the image so I could change it and export in pdf.
Cheers fellas.
