thanks, got the files. started work on this, but do bear with my creating a board from scratch - i'm not too good at redoing a board.

hope to have this done in a couple of days, compact yet solderable...

still 39 airwires to go... am aiming for 2" by 2.5", still too large.... :( shaping up a bit now though.

mike, what are all the pads for? are they simply test points?

I was going between pads and I think pcb mounted pots if I remember correctly.

I was also going to try to get her down to that size too, but I lost track doing so much other work.

Your help is very much appreciated. :)

IM not going to use inductors. They're becomming increasingly scearce. Im doing a gyrator in a sence for the midrange control.

I'm going to hit the library this week and check out the active filter cookbook.

Keep in mind the schematic is finished for the inductors, but not a gyrator.

Also theres many versions here I did and none of them, pcb layout wise are complete.

I havent had the time to finish so finish at your own risk.

hey, i noticed that a lot later, thanks for the clarification. i'll delete those that aren't necessary anymore. quick question though - you probably don't want to make this one double sided, i assume? i think it would probably benefit the majority here as a single sided board, but i haven't gotten it that small yet.

just doing what i can to give back to this place :) seeing that i'm probably not going to post any gutshots of exotic pedals anytime soon.

Single sided would be awesome sir. IM debugging my juggernaut so im kinda busy atm.

And yeah, my progress thru it has been kinda goofy, at least on the pcb side...you can see I relied on auto router.. :slap:

so, here goes nothing. i'm really disappointed, and am thinking about ripping it up and starting from scratch cause i want it smaller than this (1.7" x 3.1") which could be a pain for people with little cavity real estate to spare.

i cannot verify this at the moment, so i'd be really obliged if someone is able to.

the EAGLE brd and sch files are in the .rar, so if anyone wants to give it a shot, please feel free to.

thanks a bunch!

P.S. the 4th page of the pdf shows red traces crossing each other. this does NOT mean that they are connected or form junctions - i have simply used the "top" layer as wire guides! the traces represent jumper wires!

you can make it a simple treble / bass control. I did a vari-mid control here somewhere to replace the indictor stuff.
