Has anybody downloaded these schemes? I am only after the schematic for Boss ME-50. The .rar file is 75mb and too big to be downloaded as i have limited bandwidth.
If anybody could email it across to me that would be great.
Thanks

Err... No. If you look at the circuit, it has a MN3007 BBD clocked by a 3101.

And how about the Boss PQ-3B schematic?

Err... No. If you look at the circuit, it has an ES56028S.

Ohh - yes. However, the ES56028S (which appears to be made of unobtainium) is just a digital delay line and clock being underused to replace the BBDs which are now more expensive than the whole of the rest of the components (including the controls, sockets and box). I had two of these ICs as samples, and was rather underwhelmed. Their dynamic range is poor, and they have some nasty distortion that no amount of tweaking will get rid of!

If you want to do a nice, lush chorus, use a couple of delay lines, separately clocked (to get that "through zero" effect), some good low pass filtering and some noise reduction circuitry (compress on the way in, and expand on the way out - also helps mitigate the dynamic range issue with the BBDs). Properly set up, it sounds truly amazing!

Sounds like good advice. However, I wanted the CH1(T) schematic for a repair; it's now my gigging chorus pedal :)

Getting a broken link myself. I even dropped the "Edit" at the end.

I was looking for the Boss DD-3. Wanted to make some tweaks for a buddy. Hope I can get my eyes on it soon!

I've not seen a veroboard version, but there's a workalike pcb version here:

http://ustomp.com/files/fa1buildetch.pdf

Doesn't look like it would be that tricky to convert to vero.

that layout has a minor error: Use a simple 0.47µF film cap instead of a "non polar 47µF".
He simply misread the schematic, there's an almost invisible dot before the "47"

Could someone find a nice schematic for this one?
I see a potential market for a project of this nature
