hey guys, just got my maxon AD-9 in the mail, and time to reverse it!

the lable on the back is black with a silver tab for the serial, which is 247081

here are the gut shots, over the weekend ill use a high rez cam to take better shots and begin tracing out and confirming with dirk_hendrik's schem!

That is the basis of this reverse... i dont think i would have done it if i didnt have dirk's schem... might be different! :p

but other than that i want to make a smaller layout.. or atleast remove the fet switching from the layout and tighten it up into a hammond 1950b :p...
hopefully maybe make one with a double delay time mod?

Ok... It would be easier for you (and us!!) to check the schem on your own...

Regarding making the PCB smaller, it does seems hard since there's not much place in the current one... A real challenge indeed!

Ok i finally got my lazy ass around to start reversing the build so far so good, Dirk's schem is pretty much Spot on! (the maxon seems the be version 2 with the components in brackets - although there is one change for now...) but im posting because i got to the fet switching section and in Dirk's schem the ibanez use 2SK118 transisters; but on mine the label is: "k44 C2H" Any idea what sort of fet's those are?

soon will post layout with parts/ component values and then eventually will go on to make a new pcb (less fet switching)

Ok i've gone over the pedal and Thanks to Dirk_Hendrik's AD-9 schematic found Here and these are the changes in comparison to the Maxon:

R5-1K
R6-10k
R9-10k
R17-20k (trim)
R44-10k
R47-10k
R50-1k
R59-10k

C2-470p
C5-18n
C8-12n
C10-100n
C11-270p
C12-1/50 NP u/V
C15-27n
C19-820p
C20-470p
C21-1/50 u/V
C31-4.7/25 u/V
C35-4.7/25 u/V
C38-18n
C41-470p

Technical question for true bypass - (ive read on the AD-80 thread) that to remove T7, T8, T12 and everything attached to the gate and connect the Drain to the Source... does that sound right? do i need to remove R41 &R42 too?

Please advice and ill work on layouts..... :thumbsup
