It obviously doesn't contain a schematic. The point of posting that is that it offers something different. Sorry that is not appreciated.

The link I posted is a service manual which obviously contains no schematic. So why compare the two in the first place? As as I said, these are different things to be appreciated in a complementary/supplementary way, not as some competition on who can post the best schematic or whatever.

If any further errors are present, please advise. I will correct them and add bypass circuit.
Just modding my TS9DX.
In my pedal, C120 (Mode +) is electrochimic 2.2uF (just like in Turbo mode)

Thanks for all the info.

I just pulled apart my TS9DX to compare it with a stock TS9 which I have modded for a friend.
I also wanted to know how they did the switching between modes
and here are the values in mine :

Stock TS9DX:
the 4.7k resistor is unchanged in all modes

TS9-mode:
47nF (.047uF) + 2 x Si-diodes (Capacitor is marked 473, EIA code shows this as 47nF)

+mode:
220nF (0.22uF) + 4 x Si-diodes

hot-mode:
1uF + 2 red LED + 100kin parallel with the LEDs

Turbo-mode:
2.2uF + no diodes

The Drive pot is a dual ganged pot, I suspect they used it that way because they already had the parts in stock.
As used in the Super Tube Screamer.
(The one with two JRC4558 IC chips)

Makes sense... (The error came from some merging of topics).

yes. I have dug through a ton of websites and ebay etc ordered some 100k pots from a seller that the pic looked close but i just got it in the mail today and it is basically just a standard mini-pot.

On the previous page , start from the first post of this thread
no search required .
I'd never seen a real TS9 DX schematic , But Jack Deville drew the one here , just as good
which really the only main [ only ? ] difference from a TS9 is the switch & diode /cap combinations

OK, great! But, how do I figure out which diodes match what modes. It's clear that "LED 1" and "LED 2" go with the "hot mode". Can someone clarify the following:
D101 & D102= ________ mode
D111, D112, D113, & D114.... which are paired with which mode?
Thanks

So, my TS9dx isnt functioing, no result when switch is pressed. I began testing the power and noticed that across the indicator led the voltage dropped by 1.5 volts to 7.4 or something like that. Is this my issue? Should i change my led?

I'd say try cleaning the " micro " switch first , and maybe replace it [ it's a little switch that the pedal depresses ]
I'll post my DX-9 but it's a modded one
