Blend control for a Dynacomp/Ross Compressor

I'd like to build a Dynacomp/Ross circuit with a blend feature like Barber's compressor has. Can anyone point me to a circuit fragment or idea that will get me started? Barber's design seems to have a pot that goes from "all Direct, no compress" at one extreme to "pure compress, no direct" at the other, with all points in between as Billy G. would put it.

The Voodoo Lab Sparkle Drive is a Tube Screamer with a blendable clean control. You could implement this or a similar clean blend with a compressor circuit. It looks like the clean is just obtained via a unity-gain opamp buffer where the signal enters the noninverting input of the clipping-stage opamp, and blended with the TS output with a dual pot.

I had a Sparkle Drive, and it went from all clean to all drive, so it seems like this blend setup would give you the two extremes that you want.
