Hey,

I recently bought a Arion Sch-z and love that pedal since then!!
The only problem is that it adds a lot of bass to the mix and I can't get it out with the Tone knob.

'Found the schematic here on the board:
download/file.php?id=13076&mode=view

Does somebody have ideas on how to get rid off that bass boost??
Or are there already some mods for that problem?

Many thanks,
bm13

Yes mine had the same problem, way too much bass.

It's been a long time but look at VR3 (Tone pot)
I can't recall exacts but I'm fairly sure I just lowered the value of C19 or C20,, or maybe it was both?
If you want exact values I used you will have to wait till I pull the back off as I'm using the pedal for the next few days.

Hi BM,,My Brain can't remember well these days
OK, I've pulled the back off and discovered that all you have to do is change C18 (470nF marked .47u) to 33nF. that's it, :thumbsup
,I just used a green cap.
C18 is down the bottom of board while C18 & C19 are up the top under the tone pot IC1.
I've been happy with the result and works fine with my gear.

This worked for my setup just fine, but let us know if that works for you so that others here can cross reference the outcome as everyone's rig is a different. :thumbsup

I changed C18 to 47nF.
33nF was a little bit too much for my taste.
...maybe something in between would be an even better fit for my rig.
But now I'm way more happy with the chorus!!! :D
