Hope this thread is still going - bought a cheap cs3 specifically to mod, so could use your advice - any sound clips of this working?

Changed out a few parts so far R9, R36, C2, then realised my R8 was completely missing from the board - according to the schem it should be a 47k coming off of peg 4 of IC3
Anyone else seen this?

Also good spot to get Tanta Caps - Tayda (my usual source) doesnt go up that high mmmm

There are some very good deals on tantalums, & also multi-layer-ceramics, at Futurlec.

Also some good deals & lot's of values at Mouser, though it's harder to sort through their huge online catalog.
