Some of the numbers on the schematic are really hard to read, anyone got a clearer one? Or a BOM?

There's a nice schem in this thread:
viewtopic.php?f=1&t=10580&p=115820#p114674
Not sure if it's exactly right for these boards though, I'm waiting for mine to arrive.

That schematic is redrawn from the factory one I provide!!!plesur wrote:There's a nice schem in this thread:

fatt-one,
I used to own an original MXR Dynacomp, till it got stolen from me,and I have been wanting to build one,do you still have any PCBs left?,i do happen to have some LM3080 ICs,but they are the square 8-pin plastic types, which I am assuming should work fine....
if you do have some PCBs left, how much are they?.....

You could probbably get away with using a 2k horizontal mount trimpot...

perhaps silly question - I have both CA3080A and CA3080H IC's, which one is the correct one in Dynacomp? What's the difference?

A little time has passed since you asked this question and I'm sure you have found your answer by now.sinner wrote:perhaps silly question - I have both CA3080A and CA3080H IC's, which one is the correct one in Dynacomp? What's the difference?
I have done a small amount of research on the different versions and have determined the following:
Information was compiled from both Intersil and Harris data sheets.
There are two main versions.....CA3080 and CA3080A.....the CA3080A has a wider temperature range
and better transconductance specs. Most other specs are practically the same. I'd consider it a military version.
CA3080............Metal Can
CA3080A..........Metal Can
CA3080E..........8 Pin Plastic DIP
CA3080AE........8 Pin Plastic DIP
Sinner, I couldn't find any information on your CA3080H. Back in the '70s I was managing an electronics store.
As I recall the H suffix referred to an IC in a TO5 can. Based on this information it appears that you have metal
can versions of both types. Who is the manufacturer of the CA3080H? (The 'H' suffix was common way back when,
and could have been used by both Intersil and Harris but didn't show up on more modern data sheets.)
