Looking for a particular component or hardware part and you just cannot find it? Got comoonents surplus and want to get rid of it? Post it all here... No sales of working pedals, put these in the 'Seen for sale' section please.
You guys convinced me! Thats pretty much what I wanted to hear. I've been interested in this project for awhile now so no point being out of the loop.
Do you know if there's a lot of boards left?

Yeah it's a Great Phaser alright, I don't normally go for Phasers but this one's different...
And I don't know the exact number, but I doubt there's many left no, getting down to the last few i'd have thought.
That means I better jump on a few and put em aside for later! You guys rule for making this available. Is there any other project PCB's you offer? I tried to manuveur around that site for other goodies but it didn't wanna let me

Not as of yet... maybe in the future though who knows, i'd like to release more EHX Projects.

Yes I've seen both of those and am planning on getting the echo base off musicpcb and the tremolo board. And of course madbean's site!!! I really like how this is a one off project of an awesome old pedal thats almost impossible to get and I haven't seen any reissues of either!
I'd like to order a PCB but have a few questions.
Is the PCB ready to populate per the schematic, meaning
are there any kludges, track cuts, jumpers that need to be made or is it stuff the components and play?

thanks
read through the thread (and i think there is another companion thread on here), there are two minor and known issues with the boards. One is that the LPB boost section of the board requires a trace redirect to function. The other is that a trace cut is needed for the manual switch to work. The details are available on this forum and on diystompboxes.com/smfforum as well.
Additionally, mind your pinout on the transistors. The one in the bad stone portion is silkscreened with the pinout for the original transistor used in the bad stone, but if you sub in a general purpose NPN like a 5088, you will likely need to flip the part 180 degrees.

Congrats!!
First advice:
Be very careful when you start placing components, especially stand up resistors.
Do not do it in a hurry, because some boards (especially double sided) are hard to debug.
When in doubt, ask.
South American technical joke: "¿Lo quiere rápido o lo quiere bien?" ("You want it fast or you want it right?")
Got them the other day. Super fast shipping coming from the other side of the US! Boards look great can't wait to get the parts and get one going. I do plan to add the LPB-1 parts. I've built about 3 or 4 LPB's and I really like them. Huge clean boost and in front of a fuzz it turns into forever sustain! Thanks again!
Props to the folks who spearheaded this project. Just built this and it worked on the first try. Very nice sounding phaser. Stayed true to the parts list, 4009, 4558 1.5 tant. Used 1% resistors throughout. I'm late to the party I know but then all the info already generated made it an easier build. The feedback pot has a subtle effect on the sound but it's noticeable. Sounds sublime in front of my echo base delay. I'm thinking of getting the LPB-1 worked out now and routing it in front of the phase as someone suggested a hotter signal improves it a bit. Sounds great as is though. Great project!
