I'm trying to find a SPST momentary switch. It looks just like the DPDT
x-wing switch but with 3 pins. Can be pcb mount or solder terminals, i can deal with either one.

Thanks

for future reference, spst has only 2 lugs. spdt has 3. beavisaudio.com has a great page on switches if you're interested

The switches (SPDT) I have now have 2 of the 3 lugs connected to the same trace. Can I use a SPST instead and still have the same result?

Yes, you could, but you'd have to find out if you need one that would be normally open or normally closed depending on what "state" the circuit wants.
