Looking for Iskra Polystyrene Caps

Postby Guava » 16 Nov 2018, 03:59

Trying to find a 0.1uF orange axial Iskra cap for a Tonebender MKII build. Like in the attached photo (wrong value in the photo but gives an idea of the kind of cap I’m shooting for).

Can offer cash or trade for rare Iskra caps (the 10nF kind used in MKIIs) and Wima caps (TFM, TFF). Also have a ton of old Mullard and Newmarket germaniums.

Sometimes I wonder what people would be like if they put as much effort into positive aspects of their their life as they did trolling message boards.

Best of luck with your cap search, Guava. A quick internet search reveals those are indeed pretty rare these days.

That's odd...
I similarly wonder what people would be like if the spent so much effort in understanding why they're doing what they're doing instead of following hearsay without asking questions.

I do know why I’m looking for this part. It looks cool. Nothing more. I understand it doesn’t make a tonal difference, so you can spare me the lecture.
