last 5... that's pretty much everything I have on the FP777. I was gonna have a go at it myself, but realised reaaall quickly that it's well out of my league :(
if anyone else does trace, schem and PCB it, I'd be keen to have a go though.. :applause:

Here is the factory schem
Those pictures look like the reissue - it does look a lot more complex than the original posted by morecowbell
members/bajaman/FP777.png

one day I may get round to drawing up a PCB and layout - if only someone could post some pictures of the original and not the reissue OR - does anyone have the reissue factory schem - email me baja002@clear.net.nz if ya got it
cheers

yeh - it definately is the reissue.. I think that's what put me off cos it does indeed look more complex than the MoreCowbell post.

that's cos bajaman gave me the schem in the first place - heh

Am I missing something, or does the reissue not have optos? It's all FET?

I found this site earlier. It has at least three panning circuits including the Flying Pan (With layout and PCB!), Stereo Box, and one called "Auto Pan". I'm guessing a lot of these effects are Ibanez, but the site just says Japanese.

EDIT: Here is another section of the site simply entitled "Tremolos and Panners".

Does anyone have an idea on how to wire the PCB posted above? There are about 25 terminals, but I can't find them in the schematic.

I've checked it and some things are pretty strange (one jumper in the layout should be a cap...f.e.)

Does anybody got another layout for the pan or a verified schem?

:horsey:

Bump,

I'm starting to collect crap about this unit

Does anyone have the trace side shot stored? Perhaps someone own one?

Screw the reissue, I'm after old one

Cheers
