Thanks for the schematic !
Is it looking the same like this ?:
Shin-ei Reverb-Mixer (RM-23)
Funny are the Shin-ei stamps on the schematic. As you can see on this poor picture:
Shin-ei Echo (RM-23) schematic
there is in the middle of the stamp "53 8." different to the "52 5." in your schematic.
I am wondering what that means and about the system of it.
On which DC-voltage the unit is running ?
I would spend it an 78xx voltage regulator.
If you can´t fix the problem I have a mod suggestion:
Remove R1, R30, C4, C8 and C16.
Place a jumper between the connection of C10/C11/R30 and the connection between C16 and the Volume pot and sell it as the "Super-Double-FuzzFace"....

There´s a sucker born every minute - and too many of them end up in the bootweak pedal biz.

Nope. It's a different version (later) of the same device you post. The owner wanted more "wet" signal (although I have warned him straight away that wet doesn't meen a deeper reverb) as well as a change in the witing so the footswitch bypasses the effect instead of turnig off the whole device.analogguru wrote:Thanks for the schematic !
