Someone on eBay is selling an elektronika (Russian) auto wah and has been kind enough to include a clear factory schematic in the listing:

I'm not good at all on the science of envelope followers but it doesn't look like a mutron (not optical) or ehx (too complicated!) I wonder what it's based on?

I'm willing to bet a CA3080 is the can opamp. Or the rusky counterpart.

I bet against it and you have lost - except when you can show me on the schematic the DC-control-path which is typical for a (CA3080)-OTA-application. So..... ?

К140УД1 is an op amp analog to uA702 (old general use op amp, has frequency compensation pins). Here's some info and a datasheet:
