I had a friend back when I was in high school who had one of those. I remember it did not sound good at all. Maybe with some circuit tweaks it can be improved?

The first bunch of Dunlop JH-fuzzes sounded like Kermit on Ecstacy, but Dunlop sold a lot of them due to fact that they had the JH in the name.

Every crappy circuit seems to be fine and interesting for a lot of guys if it's only named JH- or SRV-something.

Just like any "booteek" overdrive that says "TS-808" or anything like that. :?

Everyday I question myself if people really use their hearing when choosing effects, amps, guitars or pickups, or if they just go with the flow or give money to the one that shouts louder (or fancier).
Don't you feel like that too?
[sorry for the OT  ]

Every Christmas, my old boss from 25 years ago rings me to catch up and wish me all the best.
Last Christmas he was discussing another fellow ex staff member's comment. He had said to Colin ( my ex boss) " You know everything Colin!!"
My ex boss replied to him - "do you want to know what I know Andy??" ------- "what is that Colin"------" Most people know fucking nothing!!!"
sorry for the off topic post

And, what really concerns me, they don't want to know, but they want to claim they know, specially when comparing their "just-bought" boring stompbox to the sound of a bazillion dollar rare amp that they haven't even seen once!
Oh god, gotta get some sleep, I'm freaking bitter today...
