EHX - Echoflanger

OK, I’m finally digging through my pile of vintage pedals resurrecting them from the dead. Here’s a mid 70’s EH Echoflanger. If anyone has gut shots, schematics, layouts, info, etc. to get this puppy up, that would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I have a project data of Echoflanger on my laptop, I'll send you those tomorrow from my work. In fact I think I'll build one of those :) I have two SAD1024's to play with so hell I will :)

:applause: :applause: :applause: :applause: Nicely done!!

You did not mention the unit problem, did you? Maybe you could start another thread in the Debugging/Repair section (linking to this post for reference)...

It has a transformer in it, ain't it so? The PS section reminds me the one from the Deluxe Mistress. The flanging part must be quite close to a Mistress anyway...

This unit is in pieces. So, I need the gut shot with all board connections. I want to first put it back together and then I will start working on it. Maybe I'll post a thread if it needs debugging. Yes indeed, it has a transformer.

Thanks,

Somewhere stashed away, I have several EH schems I got in So Cal back in 1980. If I can find them, I'll put them on the forum.

Just a pic to help identifying the wires...

The upper right white wire (close to the 4558) seems to be the input...

We could try to do the MN3007 conversion. What happens if we implement the Mn3005?, maybe we create a new fx.

I posted about converting MXR flanger with MN3007 on this and the other forum.
It's just a matter of adapting the schematic...

Yeps . fully true. But that seems a hard concept for many.

And, for godsavemetal,
The SAD1024 is incxredibly obsolete. Therefore it's not easily available, regardless of country
