I had a higher number in my head, but researching a little, I was wrong. Mr.Scruffie is correct.

Sorry, had a very busy week and no time to fire up the old computer and post the schematic. Tonight I'll try again :)

Bernardduur,

great great great!

This is unbelievable

Thank You very much for this!

This scheme really means to me, naturally because I really like Pearl F-605 analog delay.
It is noisy, later repeatings sometime goes out of tune, but (generally) sound color is special...

I hope so that some day I will be in position to help You or someone else on freestompboxes.org

Best regards

Was there ever a layout of this or the other "F" series pedals?

My friend and i both have one of these and we were wondering why the unit;
a) sounds like s**t with 12V supply
b) sound good with batteries
c) drains batteries in a heartbeat

I believe the 12V/300mA label next to the dc jack is in error. Just tried the unit with my lab supply at 15V/100mA and the sound is good. All the distortion associated with the 12V supply was gone. The power section shown in Bernardduur's schematic is pretty weird and it could be one of the reasons why these weren't sold for longer period of time. If you have one, give it a go with a 15V supply..

I see nothing weird in that power supply other than that the Zener is drawn the wrong way around. After that it's a very common way of doing voltage stabilization.
Sorry. Plain out of planes.

True. For some reason i didn't think zener was in reverse.

Either way. The pedal sound very good with 15V supply, so i'm standing by my guess on the dc jack label.

I came across this old topic, as I'm currently working on one of these babies.

I have one question about the input selector. -50dB gives me a pretty dark sound. -35dB seems a little louder, less dark. -20dB gives me less volume. Is this the way it works? Is the -50dB indeed meant to be darker or is something going wrong here? Also, should it not be louder at -20dB?

Great sounding stompbox. Although it's pretty noisy to...
