Here is something I found on the Valve Jr that is quite impresive.
I have seen other posts et.. that address the Epi jr. but none like this.

Enjoy

Good documentation, thanks.
Soldering doesn't look great:

Why go through all the trouble? There's one at the Gear Page right now with mods AND a custom cab... for only.... $1000

What I did to my Jr:

- New PTP PCB; place is all in amps!
- Better quality components
- Relocation of the tubes
- Schematic error's corrected (to make the 1:1.6 ratio rule)
- Added a new output transformer of 15W to raise the wattage a bit (old one is a bottleneck)
- put the tubes back at 6.3V AC!!!! DC on heater poisons the tubes and make em go bad much quicker. Correct placement of tubes does cure the additional hiss which was in these models

The result is a very very nice amp
'No more....... loud music.......'

Too much cash invested for a small amount of extra tone.

I like the Turretboards, mod with the OT that he has on his site. Sounds great.
