Hi I have one of these amps (warranty is not transferable internationally :( ) and I have a guy who is more than capable of working on it (over the last 20 years he has worked with all the Marks, Stiletto, SOB, Triaxis and a Lone Star Special). He has a few good mods in mind for it but is reluctant to work on it without a schematic. We have looked everywhere to no avail, so I thought I might try my good friends here. :secret:
Its a long shot I know but it's all I got left :slap:

Can anyone help please or possibly point me in the right direction?

TIA

I doubt if you'll be able to find schematics for this amp for at least 5 years after initial release, based on previous experience with Mesa products. Your techie friend could try analysing the ElectraDyne amp and drawing his own schematic. :D

Ask Mesa for the schematics and they will send you as soon as possible, as long as the model is out of production.

Thanks,
did you have any previous experience to obtain the schematic from Mesa?
I remember that they gave a not so liberal support in the past.

Yes! I get schems and info everytime I need. And they answer quite fast.

Is the serial number of the device necessary to request the schematic?

No, they never asked for SN, but I provide in advance when I have the unit with me.

Watch out with this guy: get a cheap Mesa Boogie from US and just pop in a new transformer? With all the import charges and the fact that you have to get a custom transformer made it turns out to be not such a good idea. But he does have the schematic for this amp, which was discontinued in 2009.

Instead of having somebody at the Mesa Boogie office email out schematics all day, it would be a better idea to set up a forum.
Share it if you get it ;-)
