Hi y'all.

I started my search for Dr. Z amp schematics but I haven't found anything. Only here, @ freestompboxes.

I have the Root 66, the Carmen and the Z28 schems. Would anyone like to share some?

That's all I have too. Ive been looking for a Mini Z schematic but all I have is a gut shot I found on the web a while ago. I'd post it but I'm not sure how to add pictures. If someone could PM me on how to do this I'd be happy to share.

If it's in your PC, you have to host it in a proper website. Try photobucket.com, really good.
If it's already online, Insert image:

Some sort of champ amp derivative?

Buy one used, RE it, sell it getting your money back and post the schematic here!

Unfortunately I don't have the cash to drop on an amp at the moment but I noticed that this circuit has quite a resemblance to the Gibson Les Paul JR GA-5.

The Maz is kind of cool, but if you look at the stingray you'll see that its a note for note copy of the ac30/4 with the carman ghia tone control added.

I haven't built it yet but the person I got it from said that it was correct and would work as drawn for what ever that's worth.

Well - it won't work properly withy that .01uf capacitor connected to the wrong end of the 1Meg resistor on the second half of the phase splitter driver tube

I could be missing something but that appears to be the same as every other long tailed pair phase inverter I've ever seen.

connect the .01uf capacitor - one side to ground as drawn and the other side to the control grid of the tube (not the junction of the 1M and 47k)
