I'm told that this is the Carmen Ghia but with a VOX front end. I had the darn schemo somewhere... :cry:

From the description on the site, it seems like that's probably close.

He also uses the Matchless Chieftain mid circuit for this tone control. There was a few schematics floating around, and can't find the one I had for the life of me. If you got one please post it.
This is basically his first and best amp in the line.

Hi vanessa
Thanks for these Z schematics. I have the complete Ghia schematic on another computer where the OS-partition crashed. It will probably take a month or two before I will restore it. I can send the schematic to you then if you not allready got it by then :wink:
You are correct in that it is similar to the old Hammond reverb amplifier above.

Although I do not have the schematic at the moment I can at least share my memory :wink: of the tone control.

It has a lot of mid-scope and works/feels a bit similar to the big muff tone control (easy to dial in a nice tone with good balance for bass/treble with different guitars or to different tastes).

Do not remember the exact values but suggest
C1=250p
R1=R2=150K
C2= 10nF
R3 hmm 500k?

There´s a sucker born every minute - and too many of them end up in the bootweak pedal biz.
