Hi!

I have an old Novik Red Bear, it seems to be shorting one of the recitifier diodes and blowing the main fuse, ive changed it a few times now, was wondering if anyone had any ideas as to what might cause a diode to short??

Thanks very much

Dan

heavy currents,it can be a tube pulling too much or too old filter capacitors that draw lots of current

Thanks! Turns out my output tranny was shorting, was able to disconnect the faulty winding and get it back up and running (just need to rewire my cab now)
