Hello,

I need some help for wiring a power transformer. This one:

http://www.classictone.net/40-18097.pdf

If I have 230V I have to solder the WHT and BLK/WHT together, and the BLK and GRY are the power input.

But now the question. What is the SS ORN Cable?? and the RED/YEL CT and GRN/YEL goes to ground?

Thanks!!

ss is the shield, goes to ground.
red yellow goes to same ground of the main filter cap.
green yellow usually goes to ground, but can also be elevated 50/70 volts to prevent excessive hum and preserve cathode follower tubes.

Many thanks!! If I understand correctly, if you don't have a CT transformer, is necessary install two 200r resistors into the pilot light and ground. But this transformer have CT. If I ground, is necessary install the two resistors??

Thanks.

P.D.: the original layout shows, green yellow and red yellow to ground.

Thanks. It's a bassman aa864 that works with 120VAC. I can replace with the classic tone transformer without any issues no?
