No, the 5672 is a pentode and the 6112 is a dual triode, you'd have to redesign the amp to do that and the 6112 isn't a particularly suitable output tube anyway.

Uh, is this how it's suppose to be looking? The PCB images are all the wrong size. Someone said on one of the forums to resize them to 48% but that still didn't size the IC1 for a socket, so I sized it to 35% and the IC socket fits perfectly, but other things are a bit crowded. I etched a couple so this is how it's going to go, caps'll all just have to get along.

Resize to 48% should be correct. Those electrolytic look huge. What size are they? I used 11mm x 5mm.

They measure 12mm x 8mm, it's all the local shop had in 10uf 100V. Did anyone else use an IC socket? I could see IC pins fitting the 48% because you can stretch them out and apart more than a socket, but 35% is the only size that a socket would actually sit in the board.

Hello to all,

I am new to the forum so first a huge thanks to all for the efforts you put in the page.
I am new to building gear aswell. I built some non tube stompboxes and had no problems. Now i wanna build the murder one but i feel that i have some concerns.
1. Which safety procedures do i have to obey?
2. Do i need to do voltage readings?
3. Will it work with the common power supply like other pedals?
4. Do i solder the tubes directly on the board or do i use sockets?

Thanks so far. I hope i am not bothering anyone. I really wanna do this and understand what i am doing.
