Has Ampclones.com gone down?

Postby DrNomis » 30 Apr 2015, 16:03

I've been trying to get to the Ampclones.com website for quite some time but when the webpage loads all I get is a completely blank page, I've used another website called websitenotworking.com to check it but it reports that it works, has anyone else experienced the same problem or is it only just me?......

Noticed this yesterday , wanted to see if they had the 1 watt marshalls. I get the godaddy page so I think the website / hosting has ran out

I thought that it could have been an issue with Internet Explorer 11 so I thought I would try using Firefox instead, I'm getting the GoDaddy website in Firefox but Internet Explorer 11 just gives me a blank page.... :hmmm:

Good to know I'm not the only one having this problem..... :thumbsup

A bit of a bummer cause I was going to order the SLOClone PCB and Chassis kit this year..... :|

For just the chassis, you could get the Weber 6SX chassis - it's more or less a SLO chassis...might have to drill some holes for your pcb, though. I've built about 4 different SLO derivatives on that chassis, also using the Weber transformers, and they turned out well.
Their "Heather" kit is the full SLOClone kit, but I really wouldn't recommend it, because the eyelet board they expect you to use to build it is ridiculous and really hard to work with. Better just buy some parts from them and get a PCB elsewhere.
