Maybe Boss Hyper Fuzz FZ-2, set to mode two. Another idea would be to place a buffered pedal in front of a classic fuzz that doesn't like buffers (fuzz face, for example). I owned a Boss Power Driver PW-2 in the late 90s, which could sound like that, too.

I see thats the way orgy sounds..maybe I would clone a hyper fuzz?? is that possible? I saw a schematic of the hyper fuzz but I doubt it may be its a wrong schematic...

Hello,

The Behringer SF300 Super Fuzz is already a clone of the Boss FZ-2 Hyper Fuzz and is very cheap.
Perhaps you could have a little fun playing with that to see if it's the sound you're looking for.

Close, but not exactly the same. The guy in Orgy definitely used the FZ-2.
Here's a clone pcb: https://www.pedalpcb.com/product/hypedfuzz/

Interesting! Many online sources "know" that they used the FZ-2, but maybe it was the FZ-7? Simple typo... that's why we play a "h" instead of a "b" in germany...

They're advertising for the complete series (at the time). It doesn't mean that they really used one of them...
Post links to videos and tells us which sound exactly you're trying to replicate.

But the point is: If you want to get it 100% right, you need the same amp, speakers, guitar, microphone etc ... and the same fingers.
If some parts of your signal chain are different, you might get better results if you use a different fuzz pedal. For example, the single most important part in a signal chain might be the speaker - and 99% of the people who want to sound like heroe X don't take that into account. If your amp sound has a bit more scooped mids, than Orgy's amp, you might need a fuzz that sounds a little fatter to compensate that...

I find it more helpful to describe the sound you want with non-technical terms: cold/warm, organic/sterile ... Describe what it does to a song, how it affects the mood of the audience. And then find out how you can create that feeling with whatever equipment you own. In the end, nobody cares, if you used the same pedal as hero x, not even if you play in a cover band.

thats equipment set up..but i think their sound is not sound like shit because they have uniqueness bringing out their own sound..but in some point they're cool sounding..
