I appear to have broken diystompboxes

Postby markeebee » 01 Jan 2010, 17:38

So, I was making a post on diysb at 5.30 this morning, NOT EVEN THAT DRUNK, and then it went:

*blip*

and now it's dead.

Sorry, everybody, I meant no harm.

Yes Mark you have broken it. Shame on you! Maybe Aron needs to change the battery but is too busy partying hard in Hawaii.

I actually managed to login a few hours ago but it was sluggish and unresponsive, much like Mrs. FC was earier this morning in fact.

Table './stompbox_smf/smf_messages' is marked as crashed and last (automatic?) repair failed

Maybe he's just backing up or something, I hate those messages... believe me

The weird thing is that Mrs FC was actually quite lively at 5.30 this morning. Let's just say that it wasn't only aron's forum that went down.

Sh*t, I'm in so much trouble now...

Not quite - it's worse - it's "Spotted Dick"!!!

You should also see some of the names of our villages - Pratts Bottom isn't too far from here!

My Dad lives near Knockin, in Oswestry. The small town of Knockin has a corner store. The Knockin Shop.

To continue in this off-topic but fun direction...

My brother used to live in a very small town in Illinois that was next to another small town called Beecher. I never checked, but my brother insisted that there was a store there that was a combination butcher and liquor store.

If you are ever in the area and find yourself in need of some booze and/or meat, see if you can find Beecher Meat and Liquor.

Another rumored business that I don't think ever existed is Beecher Tool and Die.
