Hi there,

I would like to try and learn a bit about PCB layout designing.
I would like to know what software you people use and recommend.

It doesn't necessarily have to be freeware.

Thanks,
Mike.

Hello Mike, I think a lot of people use Eagle or ExpressPCB there are many others for better or for worse.

I use DipTrace for schematics and PCBs, and also DIY Layout creator for perfboard. It's free.

I use altium designer - ex protel. The best software for schematics draw, pcb desing, and also is a good for simulations.
But it's no easy to work with this software, because is more complex, and have a lot of things.

I really like the way the layouts at http://www.tonepad.com looks like.

Does anybody have a clue as to which software Francisco uses?
