I recently got Visio 2003 up and running on my Linux box (via Crossover Office), and I also have OmniGraffle on my Mac. I just thought I'd put out some feelers and see if anyone else here used Visio or any of you Mac guys use OmniGraffle for doing parts layouts. Both programs have nice built-in schematic symbols, but I'm having a hell of a time finding passive component drawings.

Deaj was nice enough to give me his Corel Draw library for components, but I can't seem to find a way to get the files to work with either Visio or OmniGraffle. Any help at all would be much appreciated. :D

I used to use this one http://www.koffice.org/kivio/. It's very powerful and free.

I've got good software. What I don't have is the shapes that go along with doing parts layouts.

But thanks anyway! Good to see some other Linux folks out there. :applause:
