The title says it all, I use almost only vero boards, and I'd like to post some of my ideas...on Mac if possibile..

If you're running 10.4 or later then the java version of DIY layout creator should run OK.

If you're on 10.3 (like me) or older then it's a bit trickier. I use Illustrator. It's a bit of a pain to start with but once you've got some symbols for the components saved then it's pretty quick.
