Hi.
This is the simplest limiter pedal I've made. It's based on NJM2761 limiter chip. The limiter threshold depends on R10 and goes from 0,2 to 1V. I've set it to 0,6V. The gain pot controls the input signal that goes into the limiter IC . RX is a simple "clean" path that forms a simple "parrallel compression".
It works very well.
C9 is the smooth capacitor from 22nf to 220nf. Little values for fast attack & release times (with some distortion at the end of the sound) . I prefer 100nf
