Hi Mj,
Just a note about the schematic,
The tone stack is drawn wrong for a Hiwatt.
It will still work but will have a very different response than a real hiwatt tone control.

The plots here show the difference, green lines are the correct plots; :thumbsup

What sense does it make to start this topic here? You got some valuable responses at diystompboxes - no need to reinvent the wheel here.

One question wasn't answered there: Is R11 positioned correctly? The way it's drawn, the tonestack is in a feedback loop, which isn't the case in the original amplifier:

There are no square wheels,right. :) Im just starting out in the DIY forum land, and Im finding my ground. Is Everyone going though all the forums?
