Turning a compressor/limiter into an overdrive?

Stompboxes circuits published in magazines, books or on DIY electronics websites.

I've read about many people doing this (Clay's OD is based around this sort of theory I believe) but have absolutly no idea how to do it!

Any suggestions? Reading? Ideas?

Hi,

A reading idea could be:
Converting Flatline Compressor to Punchline Expander
Which can be found here: http://hammer.ampage.org/?cmd=lt&xid=&fid=&ex=&pg=5 near the bottom of the page.

Greetings,

Rangemaster

very nice! I have a few ideas I'd like to try now - it could result in a very unusual sounding overdrive :)
