OK, now it works :D fet pinout was wrong, common mistake :D
But the sound is not what I was expecting :( at 15-18v it is good, the DEEP pot doesn't do anything (as well as presence) or maybe I just have to try it at louder level ot it's because of 2N5458 I used

When I swapped C27 and C31 (was C27 1nF and C31 was 100nF) the sound was beefey and nice, but I can use only about 1/4 of DEEP pot, because when rotated further, oscillation starts :(
Can anyone help?

Thanks for this project ech0es!

I amde this project, and the X2FET (which I think you were involved in with). Both are great, and I love how quiter the Diefet is than any of my other Jfet projects.

Did you get any more setting for players tones?

have you done or thought of doing the Peavey 5150 emu?

The most recent is this one:
http://www.techniguitare.com/projets/Di ... t-V1-3.jpg

But you should study the differences between the versions to understood how it affects the sound

Can anybody direct me to a copy of the PCB?? I prefer to have board mounted pots where possible.
Are they available ready etched?

I'll try to do that today, it needs some scaling and the PCB is not that good (a bit tight in some places and not very rational) but it works :D
