hello Immo :)
Sorry about the dark grey - I was trying to get the best resolution artwork for under the 1M posting limit
I think I tried posting the gerber files as .txt (and many other formats)
I will try again and see.
cheers
Steve

OKAY
I tried to upload the gerber files as *.txt and got the message that txt files are NOT allowed.
I give up

Hi Bajaman you can try to upload a zip file, previously I was able to do so. right click on mouse then compress file or a few files on mac os, something similar would be in windows, name it whatever you want and upload if its under allowed size to forum

Okay - thanks for the suggestion lietuvis :thumbsup
Here is a zip file containing the gerber files for both SMD and through hole boards

They are both together, but if you know how to use gerber files you should now how to edit them to suit your chosen format :)

RE: BAJA three band active bass preamp:
Here is a more friendly component value schematic for the through hole board layout.
multisim baja three band active bass preamp 171112.png
I very much doubt that you would hear any difference to the 051112 schematic previously posted in this thread, but I am sure you will find the components much easier to find.
You can use either the LF442 or TL062 (both are equivalent bifet input low current drain op amps for extended battery life  )
I just finished populating a through hole board with these component values - it will be a wee while before I can install it in the Jazz bass I am putting together though - I have to make the body first  I already have the neck, machine heads, pickguard, control plate and pick ups (neodymium button magnet and steel pole piece design) sorted, so won't be too long before I can play it
cheers

this is cool, what are the center frequencies for each band?
I'd like to know if there is an existing board with fixed B and T and parametric mids all in one, otherwise i could try to design it myself.
That with a 20dB boost would be the end of all pres.

Hidden tracks on SMD are a pain. And it's always a little odd to trace a partially populated board. SoI'm pretty much giving up on this, the active circuit from my 4 string Dearmond Pilot pro. I'm just gonna assume standard BF Fender-style TMB unless I get a bug to follow through on the trace.

The external connections are on the PDF.

You know, if I had thought about that, I might have started to look at Cort as it's Korean made. Thanks for saving me the effort on this.
