This was my FX-X entry for June of '07.
Simple 1 FET Booster circuit that uses a 2N5952.
This is a great way to use up FETS that don't match for Phasers and the VibraTone build!

I like the sound of this one myself although it lost the contest!!

I've been wanting a stand alone boost. I like this. It's simple and I have some 5952's laying around too. I have to fit it in at some point. Thanks.

I did this circuit just for the purpose of using up a stray 5952 and it sounded surprisingly good!!

It's good to be here. I never knew this forum existed. With all the stompbox searches I do I can't believe it never came up. So this is where Doug H. hangs out.
I bought a bunch of 5952's during the fet matching I did for the Phase 45. I found them good replacements for some 5457 and MPF 102 and they worked great in the Nyquist Aliaser.
I need a simple decent boost in some cases and the StratoBlaster I built is stuck in a bypass all box I made so it's not convenient. This should work nice I think.

I need to get around to building the Buckaroo..see how it compares to the Sparkle Boost....

should be similar.
