my favorite amplifier: anything tube
Completed builds: Ds-1 mods, SD-1 mods, Small Clone mods, Muff build, Axis build, various other transistor booster builds... I can build a badaxe harmonic perc, but I can't get a fuzzface to sound worth a crap!

Same style easier to read schemo and this site has all the wiring you could ask for...
also... you shouldn't HAVE any hum, it's a humbucker!
Make sure your solder joints are good and your ground is complete to the bridge and to the jack.
I want it to sound like bees buzzing around in a 55 gallon drum...

+10 DGB is awesome... but hard for average guys to translate into wiring. I have two yrs electronics, and sometimes I still have to redraw those diagrams so the switching makes sense to me. That's why for easy to read plans, Seymour wins IMO, and Duncan's site is easy to navigate and fairly extensive for us average guys. :blackeye :blackeye :blackeye

I agree with you.
And that's exactly why i keep posting (links to) schematics instead of wiring diagrams. After some thinking and redrawing, those schematics eventually start to make sense, and you've learned something. Then you're more than average.

:secret: It's been almost ten years i'm a graduated EE, and i still have to re-draw those schematics to grasp the tricks they are using. Then i can combine the tricks to get something new, or at least something that works for me.
I only give negative feedback.
